When we discovered Meadow Mill we had to commit everything we could to help acquire this project for our investors. The project was being sold by a London based developer with planning permission to convert into 214 luxury apartments and 26,000ft2 of retail. Knowing this specific investor was focusing strongly in the Manchester area, we made every effort to agree the sale ‘off market’ which ended up in a 6-month negotiation. The scheme finally completed in Q3 2018 at £6.5m, a 19% discount to the guide price.
